This collection consists of biographical accounts, reminiscences, correspondence, exhibition leaflets, and memorabilia.

Collection Historical Note

Fred Green Carpenter (1882-1965) was a student and later an instructor of art at the St. Louis School of Fine Arts at Washington University. A noted painter, Carpenter won several national and international awards during his illustrious career.
